Ron Wilson is one of the great powerhouse artists of Bronze Age and classic Marvel Comics, with a career that stretches across some of the most beloved titles, characters, and eras in comic book history.

Wilson began working at Marvel Comics in the early 1970s, producing both interior artwork and cover illustrations. He became especially known for his work on Marvel Two-in-One, where he helped chronicle the adventures of Ben Grimm/The Thing through team-ups with heroes across the Marvel Universe. His association with The Thing continued into the 1980s with The Thing solo series, where he worked alongside writer/artist John Byrne.

Across his career, Wilson’s artwork has appeared in titles including Power Man, Black Goliath, The Hulk!, Captain Britain, The Avengers, Captain America, Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, What If…?, Masters of the Universe, and Wolfpack. He also plotted and drew Super Boxers, published as Marvel Graphic Novel #8, and drew the full Marvel run of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Known for bold figure work, physical storytelling, and a muscular superhero style that fit Marvel’s street-level and cosmic characters alike, Wilson has left a lasting mark on generations of comic fans.
