Nancy A. Collins is a Bram Stoker Award–winning author and comic book writer whose work helped shape modern horror and urban fantasy. She is best known for creating Sonja Blue, the iconic punk-vampire antihero featured in her acclaimed Sunglasses After Dark series — a landmark work in 1980s/’90s dark fantasy fiction.
