Meet Kevin VanHook at Super Jersey Comic Expo 2026!

Kevin VanHook is a comic creator and filmmaker whose career bridges major comics publishing and screen production. Through his early and most recognized comics work, VanHook wrote across key Valiant Comics titles—including runs on Solar, Man of the Atom and Eternal Warrior—and is widely credited as a co-creator of Bloodshot, one of Valiant’s signature characters.


Beyond comics, VanHook expanded into filmmaking and visual effects through his studio work and professional VFX credits, while later returning to comics for additional projects across publishers.

Career Highlights:
