Meet Dan Parent In New Jersey This April!

Dan Parent is an American comic book artist and writer best known for his longstanding work with Archie Comics—from classic Riverdale storytelling to some of Archie’s most recognizable modern-era visuals.


In 2010, Parent created Kevin Keller, the first openly gay character in Archie Comics, debuting in Veronica #202—a milestone that drew national attention and helped expand the Archie universe for a new generation of readers.

Parent is also celebrated for high-profile crossover events that brought Archie into unexpected pop-culture worlds—most notably Archie Meets Batman ’66 (with DC) and fan-favorite specials like Archie Meets KISS and Archie Meets Glee.
